That's an incredibly high salary for a university position. The norm is much closer to 7,000 and no paid summer holiday and even winter holiday(which is a normal thing yes). The fact that you've negotiated it to 50% paid in holidays is already incredible as most public universities won't negotiate with someone who isn't resigning a contract.

I don't think you're going to find a better offer than that these days as all the university would need to do was wait a few months to find a cheaper option (unless you're extremely qualified) then it may make sense.

BTW, the cost of living isn't much cheaper in small cities so it's by far better to work in major hubs, aside from the rent other expenses don't vary that much.

I believe that this university is not a university but rather a no tier level private college owned and operated by Hong Kong and Guangzhou businessmen. I cannot name it because it advertises on this site. The OP mentioned elsewhere that it is in Guangdong and in this post he mentions that it is 900 kms from the East Coast. There is no part of Guangdong that is 900 kms from a coast. In any case, I am not able to comment further on this college, suffice it to say that it has had a rather checkered reputation and past history, to say the least. It is remove, however, and the nearest village is 10 kilometers away, the nearest city of any size is 20 kilometers away and the provincial capital is hours away.

Just read the jobs advertised on this site and you will be able to identify it very easily.

Kind regards to you.

I am afraid you're a little confused. This is school A. Not B.
I appreciate your effort but you really need to read and comprehend first before commenting. Now you're confusing other people with your post too.
