Anyone had any experience working here or heard anything? I've done some research on this school, but there is literally nothing on them. |

They aren't on COIS unfortunately. And they seem to have nothing to do with the other BISS school. Annoying how little there is on them :/

The job description link worked for me.
Fishy: The page's copyright is 2015, which is not that unusual, but four accreditation body logos are at the bottom of the page, with IB prominently used at the top while none list the school.
I don't believe it is common for schools to acquire accreditation from more than one. |

My point (which I've made often) is that true internationals have much higher thresholds for staff than faux internationals which are vanity schools. |

IB led the effort to establish standards to facilitate the transfer of marks of children of the military and business professionals, and others since have come along to meet demand of a market of non-resident admissions.
What is relevant to this thread is that it is likely BISS is claiming accreditation it doesn't have-- a significant flag. Or it might be a matter of a technicality-- having applied for the process of accreditation and a pending situation granting a latitude to use the logos. But I strongly doubt it. It's fishy. Completing the process from any one body is comprehensive and lengthy and what's implied is any and all of them have endorsed the school.
What you're repeatedly asserting is certainly true of accredited schools because the "higher threshold" for staff is a definitive component of accreditation. To be rhetorical about it: If a well-heeled enterprise instructs its HR to hire "the best", but misrepresents its accreditation, is it a true international school?

But such is a selective and incomplete criterion for "true" versus "faux" (a binary distinction) and "vanity". |

The word barf is a ubiquitous British term for puke or puke-making. |
