Well I went to the FAO yesterday. My initial impression was that the situation here for teachers is hopeless. But then they got some English speakers involved and it seems possibly some progress will be made.

One thing is certain, these contracts are one sided so my lesson is to be very careful on my next school. Private schools for sure are more risky. A friend recommends going with a uni which are typically a safer bet and then just teaching on the side.
