Well, let's start.

The school looks attractive on paper/website. International school in a pleasant environment in southern China, with full amenities.

Arrived at this place last July (2017), and it was empty. Very big. My dorm room was small, hard bed, no fridge.

Taught the Summer Camp for potential new students, with a co-teacher Veera. From Taiwan. The students proved to be very weak in their English and academic skills.

I went to the Philippines for a month vacation, and returned to teach the Fall semester.

Never have I taught a lazier, more entitled, rude bunch of students. My duty was to teach "Reading", but the school failed to materialize the "Reading material". I had to beg for material from the poorly stocked library.

I became discontent, the students became discontent. I received a text massage: "Your contract is terminated". I was relieved.

I moved on, but it seems, as one poster puts it "China should be in my rear view mirror".

I was offered a job there, glad I didn't take it but my reason was because of its remoteness that "town" had nothing

students you had in the camp and during the semester sound exactly like the skids I had in Shanghai, low to non-existent English skills, rude, totally undisciplined and an admin that allowed them to get away with murder.

Decided I had enough and got out at the end of the semester, now back in the states deciding my next move
