Then they will probably hire you anyway and help you to work illegally, ie enrolling in 'Chinese lessons', telling you what to do if there is a raid, etc.

| Not sure if the laws have changed on this recently, but you may be able to obtain an ARC with your combination of qualifications. I have heard of people getting ARCs with two year diplomas and tesl certs. However, you should investigate this further yourself to confirm it. |

I have heard of this change as well. A step in the right direction if you ask me. Contact the Council of Labor Affairs and ask them what the criteria is. The new rules seem to favor qualifications over education. |
