I know Westgate as one option.
Does anyone know any other company that hires for a short-term job (3-6 months)
Thanks. |

The answer is Nova.
Don't tell them that when you join of course. Contracts are for one year but as long as you give 30 days notice you can quit any time. The average stay of Nova teachers is 8 months. I stayed for 2 years, which was rather silly of me. |

No other company or school that I know of hires for less than a year's contract.
Yes, you can quit any company/school when you want, but to come here planning to quit after a few months is pretty lame. Makes the rest of us look pretty bad.
This is a worn out argument, I know, but I feel it still warrants mention. |

Mmm, Glenski, I think people may have a rather low opinion of ESL teachers anyway. Check out the single women ads in Metropolis - "No English teachers please" !!!!
If that is of concern, though, there's always the "My relative is very sick" option. |

Doesn`t that make `the rest of us` who stay and honour our contracts seem pretty good.....?! |

I worked for Nova for four months. I had my return ticket booked before I went. Everything went perfectly.
By the way, I worked hard when I was there. I followed all the rules, gave the customers the best sessions I could, cooperated 100% with management, and didn't leave any kind of messes for them to clean up.
If the circumstances were right, I might work for them again. |
