On 1st arriving to japan my boss (oogly adams appled nervous english posh boy) put a note on my personnel file because I drank too much booze at the "hey ! welcome to japan and eikaiwa life, its a partaaay were just caraaazy guys" welcoming-free-company-boozeup-thing...and as such falling blind drunk asleep outside my new apartment was branded "region alcoholic"....

Funny. My office welcome party had a note put in my personnel file how it was wonderful I could drink so much. Seems the BOE office at city hall were the hardest drinkers and they loved I could down em with the best of em.

Like Denise, I must admit, I've tossed my brownies after drinking. Once, only once.

And on a train platform, too. After a bachelor party. What, may you ask, was a woman doing at a bachelor party? Well, when you're the only gal in your dojo, and the guys invite you to tie one on for the groom's last day of freedom, you can't say no.

And the experience turned me off of excessive drinking.

But I still indulge in chuhai or a pint now and again.
