Hola!
Vote for Dave Sperling for President.
Why Dave?
1.) He's rich! (He lives in California, has to be) Anybody who has gotten rich from the ESL profession is a talent we need.
2.) Dave has been to a lot of countries. Looks good in a beret, which will appease the French into a sense of security.
3.) Dave is good looking.
4.) He is much smarter that Kerry and Bush.
5.) He's not Kerry or Bush.
6.) His website comes much faster that Kerry.com or Bush.com.
7.) He understands that world peace comes with education and an understanding of other people's cultures.
8.) Dave will write me back if I send him an e-mail, he will do you the same. Do you see Kerry or Bush doing the same?
9.) A President makes 400,000 USD a year, which is 4 cents more than what he makes on this website. Making this money, he should pay off a mortgage in California in 25 years or so and happy for the support.
10.) Dave will make a lot more money, because he is sending REAL ambassadors in the field, not bull-s h i t politicos who need a vacation.
11.) Dave will stop the fighting in Iraq immediately, because as soon as the fighting is over, he can find teachers dumb enough to work for 200 dollars a month in a freakin' war zone.
12.) Will force Dick Cheney into a multi year deal teaching kindy in Korea for exchange of his life.
13.) Lastly, elect him President because his ass will be way too busy to run his website which will bring in cut throat opportunists like the Senor in the fold.
So, if you are an American, screw Bush, and Kerry, vote for a real American who looks good for the camera, is smart and may bring about world peace thru language and understanding, the Honerable David Sperling of California.
Senor

Nice build-up, Senor. Unfortunately, you spoiled the effect through a misspelling. It should be the HONORABLE David Sperling.
Then again, who can ever forget Dan Quayle's misspelling of that vegetable which grows out of the ground?

think this guy might do a good job, but only as his character in Elf... |
First of all, does this guy have a NAME?!
Secondly, "Elf" is the name of a French petrochemical company.
Be aware that I am not implying that these two are in any way remotely connected (unlike certain people we all know and detest....) |

If you really don't know the guy in the picture, his name is Will Ferrall (formerly of Saturday Night Live and, next up, 'Darrin Stevens' in the new "Bewitched" movie). |

Thanks for the clarification about "Elf", Slim.
Chances are, though, that, even if it comes to Wuhan, it'll be dubbed into Chinese, so I won't be able to enjoy it at the flicks (there's a good old British expression!). Still, like a lot of other movies, I expect it'll be on DVD in a matter of months (weeks, days, hours........) |
