I like "On the Road Again" and I have used it a couple of times, but some of my students complained. They said they didn't appreciate trashy American country music. (Their words, not mine) So now my all time favorite is "Fly Me to the Moon.

But sometimes, "Tears in Heaven" or "Hotel California" or "Dancing Queen" or "Desparado" or "Fernando" or "Chiqitita" or "Have a Cigar" or
"Brown-eyed Girl" or "We are the Champions/We will Rock You" or "I was made for Loving You" or "If I had a million dollars" or "Copacabana" or "You've got a friend" or "The Piano Man" etc ad inf.

Use what you like, but try and see it from your student's point of view. What are they going to learn from it? Will they appreciate the sentiments that the song presents?
Cheers
Just my 2 cents, now I'm in debt.
Shocked

It might be appropriate for those of us in China to use everyone's favorite song about the Black Death, Ring around the Roses, at least until SARS is over. I've added a couple new verses.

Ring around the roses, Pocket full of posies,
Ashes, ashes, We all fall down.

Coughing, wheezing, hacking, English teachers packing,
Ashes, ashes, We all fall down.

Vinegar and smoking, Everyone's still choking,
Ashes, ashes, We all fall down.
