I have to be in China Sept 20th onwards..heading for Wuhan I have tried Ncl - Beijing flights and they are all over the place price wise. I can go from other UK airports if this would keep the airfare down.

Anybody took a different route to Wuhan ...or thereabouts. I understand if I go via Shanghai that would involve an airport change in Shanghai which I want to avoid if poss.

Anyone gone via Hong Kong for example ?

All suggestions much appreciated.

Cheers

Do not fear Shanghai Pudong, as long as you can avoid a transfer to Hongqiao for the domestic leg. You will need to connect somewhere. And check the sticky.

I always fly from Manchester or Birmingham through Copenhagen to Beijing with SAS - been using this route for several years - never had any problems.

I agree that Scandanavian Air (SAS) via Copenhagen is a good route. www.cheapflights.co.uk often has deals with them (through agencies). I have had single tickets for as little as UK250 - though there can sometimes be visa issues with single tickets these days.
