Im pretty sure its a "he", and trolls thrive on attention.
Take notice of their insults, become indignant and they just come back for more, like schoolyard bullies. Take a look at the last page of the Martial arts thread and you will find that that kind of spoken Japanese only exists in chop-socky Hollywood movies.
I would say he has met his match. |

Yea, I read some of that person's commits on the martial arts thread because it was attacking me again. That was the second time. Why would someone waste time to insult someone he or she doesn't even know? Anyway, I thought it was this crazy woman I used to know because most of the insults didn't even make sense. |

1. warped sense of humor
2. too much time on their hands
3. get off on pulling down other people and watching people (especially those you dont know or will likely never meet in person) get upset over what they write.
4. insecure. |

No really everybody. I'm not a troll. You're just going to have to trust me. |

Eleckid- I see that you are relatively new to this forum, and I don't know you well enough to know your intentions, but you really mustn't use the term "Jap". A lot of people find it very offensive. If you must abbreviate the word "Japanese" please use the forum's standard abbreviation "J." |
I'm sorry, I'm not trying to insult any Japanese, I just typed it for abbreviation purpose only. If I'm here to offend them, I wouldn't be making J. friends here or living here. Ok, I'll use J. from now on~ Thanks for telling me that! |

can i get shiseido shampoo in drugstores there or do I have to go to a depato?
I buy this stuff in Canada at Asian foodstores. I love the smell of it. Yummy apples! |
Well Shiseido is a Japanese brand, so there's a lot more dif shiseido products here & much much cheaper! You can get them anywhere, supermarket, drugstores, anywhere.
I've been using their shampoo & conditioner for a year so I'm gonna change brand cuz I'm tired of the smell. Maybe I'm not a strong smell person. I bought the refill for Mod's hair shampoo & Dove's conditioner, so after my shiseido is done, I'll fill them up~ hope they're good! |

I'm not sure about the laser issue except that I was amazed at one point to see DIY lasers for sale at Deo Deo. That seems kind of bizarre to me. |
There is NO way in hell a home laser would work because your home power socket can't produce enough energy to do any real damage to the hair follicle. I've had seven laser treatments (including one yesterday) and I know first-hand the kind of power these machines suck up. |

It depends on the laser. I've had treatments with an Alexandrite SoftTouch (I think that was what it was called) and it hurt so much that I was in tears. I had to take medication and spend three hours before treatment with Emla (anesthetic) on the treatment area, and the pain was still unbearable. I had to stop my treatments with that laser. I've now switched over to the Syneron Aurora laser, which combines light with energy. This laser is one of the newer ones that has a cooling tip, and it makes a huge difference in the pain level. My treatment takes about half the time because we don't have to keep stopping and starting due to the pain. I have only had one treatment with the Aurora so I'm not sure what the results will be like... I can tell you that I pay about 1/4 of what I was paying with the Alexandrite. I also got a small burn on my first Aurora treatment, about the size of a pencil eraser, which was something that never happened with the Alexandrite. I don't think it will cause a permanent scar, but it something to keep note of. |

Is Emla available in Japan? |

Just shave girl. Just shave. Yes I know it hurts a little when it grows back, but its ok really and you'll look really cute with the semi-prepubescent look. Honest.
Goodnight |

Beauty is pain!
I partially subscribe to the theory that if it doesn't hurt, it doesn't do much good... |

I asked about the EMLA in case I have to get anymore shots while I am in Japan.
since this is a cosmetics thread, I'd figure i'd ask about cosmetics
Does Japan have Trucco makeup? I love the smell of the foundation!
I know they have MAC which is good! Yummy lip gloss! |
