Ferdane? Ok, directions please. Thought I would be available late night but it looks like 7PM will be my open time slot. That work or would another night be better for all?

It's on a side street off Istiklal in Beyoglu. Down the street on the right side. Kind of a cave.

DMB, I'd vote for Friday night or Saturday night. Ferdane or Sawady (or maybe it's Sadawy) behind Gizli Bahe, near the Star Hotel. Good nice big deck outside with beanbag chairs.

I'll be in Ferdane at 9.30. I think it is Miş Sokak. IT's the one with all the telephone boxes at the end. It's the street before Vakko.

Coral, my excuse is my friends came from England on Saturday and they got here about 5 hours late at 1 in the morning.

Clea, I love tasteless jokes.

Should we try again? We had a lovely quicky (oooo!) the other night with Ash and lucy k at Ferdane, which needs to be repeated. Any takers? I'll be away starting this weekend, I think, in Cappadocia, and wont be back til maybe the 25th... but after that? Who will be around? Also if anyone is based in or near Kadıky we could do something there too-- barlar sokak calls!

Otterman - Last time I suggested a meeting in Izmir you replied that you never touch alcohol and do not frequent places that sell it. Have you had a change of heart?

Hi FGT

No ,not really, you don't have to get drowned in alcohol everytime you go out .
I enjoy coffee or fruit juice, even a glass of milk, but I still know how to party when the mood takes me ,the summer for example was a haze but alohol was rarely consumed .

FGT and Ollie. Srart your own thread. It could get very confusing. A newbie could end up wandering about Taksim looking for a bar which is actually in Izmir. anyway thursday 6.30. The weekend begins now.I'm off to wander purposefully towards Cadde I-kıbir. Cheers
