It tastes just like beer but contains roughly 1/2 of 1% alcohol.
It is available in most stores and shops that sell beer. |

| Anthyp, try going to a Sichuan place and asking for ganbian tudou si. There's a little place that I know of in DL that does Sichuan fries rather nicely, and it's just a stone's throw from the stadium. |

Moroccan food ranks amongst some of the tastiest in the world and there is such a variety of restaurants available in Casa. The only problem I ever have food wise there is when I try to get a decent steak medium rare or rare. PM me and I'll tell you where to go for good meals |
Casa isn't so big so I'd go anywhere to avoid further chip/fries misery. Where are these restaurants? |

The area with the most choices would be in the vicinity of the Twin Towers: There's a decent mexican (Tex Mex), La Brioche Doree has some delicious italian snacks, and the caf� with a green bache serves some pretty decent sandwiches. If you are familiar with the Maarif area, you can go up to the pedestrian street for a diverse choice of foods: snacks, tagines, egyptian dishes, couscous.... the list goes on.
Downtown is filled with many restaurants with both local and foreign foods.
Along "La Corniche" past the Mc Donalds and the Megarama movie theater, you will find another strech of pretty decent restaurants including "La Pierrade", most of them have been in business for over 25 years.
On the small street next to "clinique Badr" there is a little known Chinese restaurant to die for.
Right across from the Lycee Lyaut�, there is a street with a good pizzeria, and one called Aladin (the best chawarma in Morocco)

P.S2: there is a wide range of fast foods as well (McD, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Quick.....) |

Wasn't this thread about terrible countries? Morocco has taken over 
Nolefan, thanks for the list of Italian, Mexican and other non-Moroccan restaurants in Casablanca. You've confirmed all that I and my colleagues here think. It just about sums up the staple diet of the average expat here. |

Most expats are limited to those options because they don't try getting out to some of those small place where they can serve you some Moroccan food.
Most moroccans won't eat Moroccan food when they're outside unless it some type of snack.. when everyone's mama makes the best couscous in town, it's hard to compete with that.
If you go to that street I talked about in "Maarif" you'll be able to get some pretty good Moroccan food. |
