Hi ya,

I'm moving to Bangalore at the end of the month, and was wondering if anyone out there is currently living there or has lived there recently.
Cheers.

So. you're the guy who took the Call centre job.!

There'll; be tens, or even hundreds of thousands of fluent English speakers there, so you shoulgn't suffer from loneliness.

You are correct, sir. I did in fact take that job; I start next week.
I wasn't too concerned about meeting English speakers (though meeting other "westerners'" wouldn't be bad), I'm more interested in impressions of the city/area.
Cheers.

My experience was as a tourist last year, but I love the place, and I would imagine that it'd be a good place to live as well. Sure, it's crowded and polluted, but it's a lively city with lots of modern conveniences and plenty of charm. I'm very envious, as English teaching jobs in India seem to be few and far between.
