|
|
Hi there,
I am a more than reasonably intelligent 28 year old Canadian lass very much interested in taking the TESOL course with the NIKE internship offered by TEFL International.
Here are my issues:
Has anyone completed this course? What were your findings?
Is the school reputable?
Will I be able to get a job with my internship experience and TESOL cert. (i.e. I have no degree)?
Will there be schools hiring in February?
Any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. There sure are a lot of places online to merely buy a degree. Makes me wonder if having a bank account and a pulse are a quick remedy for being a baccalaureate drop out. This is such a hot topic! |

TEFL Int. is a fine school. It is generally accepted internationally. As for your job prospects without a degree, that is a different story. In Thailand a bachelor degree is required to get a work permit as a teacher. You can always work on a tourist visa , but you have to make those frequent visa runs. You can always get a fake degree, but that is up to you. Good luck on your job hunt. |

Actually it is possible to get a WP without a degree (there's a few ways in fact), but the exception (until schoosl start making the effort to find out how to do it) rather than the rule. |
