I'm 57 years old and I've been teaching English Lit and composition in a College in Montreal for about 30 years. I've also taken years off and taught ESL in Saudi Arabia and Korea. I've applied for the three month Westgate University teaching program for September, but I've heard that it's very hard for older types to get hired in Japan. Is that true? Is it true for Westgate in particular? Should I expect to get rejected by them? I would appreciate anyone with experience to share.
Thanks,
Steve |

I`m with Westgate now, and at our training there were a few people who looked like they were in their 40s and 50s. Most seemed to be in their late 20s. |
