I love the bit about not going out on the street if you have wet hair. Obviously you have just had a quickie! Very Happy

Yeah, my Turkish girlfriend revealed that custom about showering to me to explain the punchline for a joke she made about why so many magandas have strong BO.

I resent the statement about avoiding kokore. It's the best sandwich for a ride home after a few beers. But make sure you find a good place. I hit the same guys at Golden in Balık Pazar by Galatasaray.

They also failed to mention that there is real beer in Istanbul at Taps if your willing to shell out a few mil extra.

Isn't it funny what people's false expectations will be after reading this? It isn't totally true is it!

Me too, I love kokorec!

"Avoid magandas -- men with moustaches, open shirts and lots of gold jewellery -- as they consider it a point of honour to sexually harass as many women as possible!"

I've only eaten kokorec twice. Thee first time I was p.issed and I thought it was alright. The second time I was sober and I almost gagged. It's disgusting stuff.

There's a restaurant on Ziverbey Cad. called Kral Kokore. Canyou honestly say that you'd eat at a place in the UK/US/Australia called Intestine King? Razz
