How big is it. Supposedly if it is too big it won't fit in, even though i have seen some pretty big one's at Dave's

(Dave's, rather small, despite the large head. The other moderators also tend to have smaller ones, so I guess they easily fit in even without being stripped Embarassed

Hi guys!

I'm kind of curious about it myself. Dragon's avatar (Chinese flag) was a monster. So is/was Writerman's ABC blocks. My 'bomb' looked much smaller before I posted it here. Chongchang (or whatever his name is) loaded mine. The way he described doing it was as clear as mud, but I'll ask him to PM you the instructions if you like. I'll decode them first if it helps, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you PM'd him. he needs all the friends he can get. Wink Hope that helps.

Andre, you're lucky you only got away with a red cross. Be interesting to see how long this thread stands when someone works out what you wrote at the bottom. Careful, brother. We're losing them faster than we can grow them.

Find an avatar. A good place to look is www.freeavatars.net Then once you've found the one that's right for you, right click on it. Go down to properties and left click to open. Copy the url. Make sure it's in gif format(there's another format that works also but I can't remember which) Once you've copied go to your profile on Dave's. Down at the bottom where it says links to avatars just paste in and submit. Good luck...

"stripping my moer" is a local South African saying for getting very p....ed off at yourself. I used it to get a response from any SA's out there. Enjoyed your comments about "small" and "large" Very Happy

Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Sunny, I think the answer is both...noun and verb. A rock who rocks Exclamation

Arioch. You were a bit slow on the uptake. Me too. I wanted the mushroom cloud but buggered if I could find one. In another post Davis gave a good link: http://www.freeavatars.net but there isn't a huge range of choice. A lot of a few kinds. BTW, your new avatar still blows chunks, but they're smaller chunks. Very Happy

PS. Last night I loaded a good one. One of the 'X Men'. Then Wokka the Okka (Woz from Oz) waded in and went ballistic over my dynamite one, which I don't much like either. However, in a spirit of friendly cooperation I reloaded the dynamite avatar just to drive him nuts. Wink

Sunaru, I'll go with the noun.

Chongcheng, get back to work! NOW!

Klasies, you're a klas act. Wink

And all the others, let me put you out of your misery.......

'rock" is a South African euphemism for someone who speaks the second official language there!
Perhaps euphemism is not the right word, because it is usually used by English speaking South Africans in a derogatory way to discribe someone who is not English speaking, or who is trying(unsuccessfully) to speak English.
For example: If someone says: "I spokes English deliciously" We would say, you are a rock.............
