Hi guys! I tried to do a search before I start a new thread but I wasn't lucky. Anyway, besides flying or the shink, any cheaper way? I heard about the night bus. Anything else?? Thanks a million! |

Night bus would be the cheapest, other than hitch hiking. |

depending on the time if year and if you have a few mates to share it with a "seishujuuhachi-kippu" is pretty reasonable... if not extremely long. You travel mostly local lines on JR for a 24 hour period. The ticket costs around 11,000 yen and is available in university holiday periods. It can be used 5 times or by 5 people, making it the equivalent of around 2700 yen per "ticket".
Like I said, expect it to take more than five hours... if not seven... depending on how you want to do it... the best part is stopping off at various stations and chancing the different soba, udon etc stands... or even leaving the station for a trip to the beach, or whatever... |
