Hi, I'm new to Vietnam, and already I think this is the best country in the world. Anyways, I am vacationing right now, but eventually I will want a job and apartment to make my stay here more long-term. Can anybody recommend a good place for a decent, secure apartment?
Also, how do you guys go about finding jobs here?

What city are you considering? Do you want to live in Hanoi, HCMC, a smaller city like Danang... or in the countryside?
And what are your teaching qualifications and experience? Are you a native speaker of English? There are certainly jobs available for qualified seekers.
Post your reply and I'm sure people can give you good recommendations. |

Actually, I'm not sure where. I have a lot of friends in HCMC, so it might make sense for me to remain here. But I could check out Hanoi. Anyone wanna give a comparative analysis of which is better to work in?
As for experience, I have taught English in Korea for one year, and down a lot of private tutoring here and there, as well as a lot of church work in ESL. I have a B of Sc. in CIS, so my technology skills may be relevent in some schools. I also have several years experience in school-age care.
Also, is there any place to live where the pollution ain't as bad?
