Sadken,
You're absolutely brilliant! I was 'Not Only But Also'
Is it a sign of age that I can remember bits of the show but not it's title?
Thanks for helping this old codger out!

Interesting how there seems to be a mix of comedies and what I would call in N. American English, 'sitcoms'. Things like Monty Python, Mr Bean, and Kids in the Hall definately fit more in the straight comic area as they don't have a regular story or run as a series generally. For comedy shows I also liked 'In Living Color', 'Mad TV' and of course 'Saturday Night Live' with the original 70s cast.

I actually liked 'Coupling' as well as 'Is it legal?' I am surprised no one mentioned 'Get Smart' or 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'. The Simpsons always rates high in my book, but it is an animation, which makes it a bit different in a sense.

I'm trying to think of other shows, but recently I mostly watch crime series.
