Correct me if I'm wrong, but Poland is now part of the EU, right? Does this mean that Americans wishing to teach English in Poland will be dissapointed? |

It is in the Eu now, although I don't know whether you would be disappointed or not. |

ive heard that it's virtually impossible to work in any EU country (legally) as an american b/c you need an EU passport. but then ive also heard that poland is a hot spot for jobs as an english teacher, americans included. anyone? |

There are still legal ways for non-EU citizens to work in Poland, as in most of the other new EU member countries. Check out the Poland forum (scroll down on Job Discussion Forum)for more detailed info. There are some posts there that discuss specifically how to get work visas for the country. |
