Hello everyone, I was told about this site by a friend and I am very glad I found it!
Ok here is my situation:
Canadian University Grad with a Portuguese passport who would love to teach in Portugal. I dont have any certificates yet, however...I am leaving for Portugal tomorrow so is there any place where I can take the necessary course in the country? Or where should I start looking once I am there?

Suggest you try the web links guide from Dave's home page. Other sites also have them, eg. www. tefl.net, www.teflfarm.com, these may be of use. I would imagine if you didn't read education, you'll be asked for a CELTA or equivalent ( such as Trinity cert.TESOL), but having never worked in Portugal I can't say for sure.

I don't know what part of Portugal you'll be in but I found the CELTA program at International House Lisbon to be quite fabulous. |
