Homer Simpson,
You need to move down South, brother man.
I have yet to have seen that, in all of my life.
Maybe in Boston or Utah or Detroit or somewhere *lol*

Definitly the pay and the cost of international flights! OUTSTANDING value!!!
Also love the clothes here. Great shopping to be had in Harajuku! Love the atmosphere there.
Disneyland and Disney Sea!
The shrines. Can't get enough. |

I've been here for over month and here's what I've found..
10 things I like about Japan
1. Convience stores and vending machines everywhere
2. Cheap seafood and great sushi
3. School girl outfits; short skirts and knee high boots
4. Safe and friendly
5. Low tax rate / no tipping required
6. 100 yen shops
7. Buses and trains are always right on time and they announce the stops
8. Very trustworthy culture (bikes are unlocked and cars left running)
9. Cool technology (cell phones, computers, cameras, bulletin boards)
10. Liquor in all corner and grocery stores. Beer in vending machine in hotels.
If there are good things, there must be some not so good stuff..
10 things I dislike about Japan
1. The random foul smells you come across walking down the street
2. Junk mail and street flyer handouts everywhere you go
3. Loudspeakers from cars that advertise in the early morning for Pachinko.
4. Typhoons and earthquakes
5. It's the most expensive country to live in the world
6. Most TV shows suck
7. Blurred out porn and hairy muffs
8. Small portions at restaurants
9. Sleeping and sitting on the floor all the time
10. Lack of chronic |

Not to jump on you too hard but cars are left running because a running car is not considered "parked," hence no ticket for double parking. As for bikes left unlocked, you're begging for it to get nicked. Bikes get snatched here on a regular basis. |

Hey G-money,
No need to go without but too pricey. Btw, just got back from your neck of the woods and have to say that Hasting's has it going on. Fully rocking!
10. No fear
9. Able to travel internationally several times a year
8. Cops don't hassle
7. Convenience
6. My job
5. Lushness of vegetation
4. My salary
3. Action if you want it 24/7
2. Invisible sales people
1. Not being Japanese |

I'm from Victoria not East Hastings in Vancouver, but I know what you mean! You get action whenever you want? |
