Alright we're almost there. So now its time to put your necks on the line and predict who is going to take the cheese.

Bush will win, barely.

Everything is set up for a Bush win. Look at the electoral college votes.

If Kerry pulls a win, I will be surprised.

This is the best guess at the electoral college as it stands: http://www.electoral-vote.com/ It doesn't mean Bush won't win but it does offer an opposing view.

Kerry will win, just barely. I think there will be one or two upsets and we will all be surprised (okay, so I really don't know WHAT the h-e-l-l I'm talking about!). What I wish would happen is for newschannels NOT to predict winners of that state before the polls close. Not only does it cause those late voters to maybe give up and not bother but states further west will see this as well. They may think, "Well, I live in Nevada and we don't have many electoral college votes, and "X" has already won in Ohio and Florida, so why should I bother?"

It's this "give-up" mentality that so many Americans seem to have that really ruins the whole democratic process, especially when it comes to electing a president.

Hey,

I didn't see Nader on your poll. What's up with that?

I mean, don't rule the guy out. Anything could happen. It is America after all. Look at what happened last election.

Cheers

Osama Bin Laden will win in the long run.

The voters will lose as they always do.

The military industrial complex will win, regardless of who the next President is.

Let's face it Nader isn't winning anything. All he can do is keep Kerry from winning. And like on the real ballots you can always write him in.

Hey, Norman Bethune, what's with the long face. Democracy and capitalism may not be a match made in heaven but we are living in a time when the masses of the world are more represented in the governing of their lands than ever. It's far from a Utopia but hey what isn't? I would agree that the voters lost in 2000 only because the guy who got half a million more votes didn't win. Let's just hope that the voters get a clue this time so it doesn't need to be up to the Supreme Court and Kerry gets the landslide win most people around the world are hoping for.

I agree with you Kev! And that's what ruins it for everyone.

But the opposite may be true: "Jeez! I MUST go and vote or so-and-so will get in!"

In Canada, they had a law that made it illegal for the media to report anything until the Pacific Time Zone polls were closed, but it was struck out in the courts as being unconstitutional.

I agreed with the law in principle, but agree that by the way our laws were written, it was unconstitutional.
