I noticed a few people on here talking about how they got their TEFL from Winfield College in Vancouver.
I got mine April 2004. Who else got theirs there? Good school IMHO. |

What did you like about it? I don't know much about them other than advertising often for teacher trainers, which is not a great sign. I have not heard bad things about them though. |

I took my 4-week TEFL certificate with Winfield back in May 2003. It's essentially a clone of a CELTA course without the CELTA(r) brandname - or the expensive price tag.
I thought they did a fine job, and I have no complaints at all. |

Yeah, I thought they did a damn good job too.
Good teachers and good hands on. Pretty damn strict when it comes to the teaching you do thats hands on, but its great for learning.
Nice people there too. |

I also did my TEFL there, and I found the trainers to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I did my certificate after having taught for a few years already, and I still found that I got quite a lot out of their course. |
