You have to register separately for the Korea Forum.
I heard they were having problems with the registration. Maybe a mod can comment. |

For whatever reason, the Korean Board is far more tightly controlled. For some odd reason, the teachers in Korea are an odd motley crew at best.
They eliminated the post count, had several web-based attacks based in Korea, so many soap operas it's hard to keep count, etc.
They want to screen everyone possible to make sure they are who they claim they are.
That's what I was told, anyways... |

I can't post in the Korea Forum either and since I plan to work in Korea this is where most of my questions can be answered. And I tried to register in the Korea forum seperately but I can't even get it to go to registration just the login. Any way around this or should I just post my questions randomly about Korea? |

You must register separately for each Board. If you are interested in registering for the Korean Board, please send an email to [email protected] and he will take it from there. If you continue to have problems, please contact me by pm. |

The board is tightly controlled because Korean is a nasty place to be online. Everyone including the world and his wife is wired broadband and you have people trying to get into your computer very regularly. The high rate of broadband ownership, the fact it's cheap and the fact that the K forum is where it all started is why the community is so huge.
In recent months, the K forum has been a much nicer place to hang out. Traffic has decreased somewhat and the mods have done a great job rearranging stuff to separate interest groups. |
