Has anyone had dealings with this company? Anything to watch out or be careful for? I'm considering applying and want to know if it's a good idea

Thanks,
Alex C-G

I'm curious, too.

I can't believe there's been no reply as yet.

Does anyone know of these folks?

I had looked at them when I was applying for a job. Once I got to the part where they said

http://www.us-china-edu.com/Apply.html
Quote:
Application and Program Fee

There is no charge to apply. If applicants are successfully placed at a Chinese school (after they have accepted the job offer), they are required to pay $300.00 U.S. dollars to cover all registration and placement expenses.

...and combined it with what they claimed I'd be paid and the fact that they only reimburse up to 850 bucks airfare for a one year contract, I decided that I didn't need to inquire further, and moved on.

There was a post about this 'organisation' very recently - do a search. In the very simplest of terms my advice is "don't". Even the most tentative of enquiries will get you a 'guaranteed position' but what they really want is for you to sign a contract with them in order that they may obtain their service fee.
