Well thank you mate ,that brings a warm glow to my well padded rear end ,there was a time when the kids deluged me with sweets and flowers now sadly no more not even a leaf .
The schools used to put a bit of a spread on for the staff as well ,alas these days it seems to be all about making a profit ,another reason not to recommend my place .
More chance of getting a foot of snow in this place I shouldn't wonder , |

Thanks dmb, and a happy and fun teacher's day to one and all.
As to you Otterman old boy, your right this year I'm down to two flowers and one card. As for my new school, I'm up for a big smack up meal on Friday night. So not to bad this year I guss.
Then again, once I use to get the odd gold coin. |

Five years ago my students bought me flowers, chocolates, etc. This year one of them managed to say happy teachers day. I think it's going out of fashion, or I'm getting more hated as each year goes by. |
