Has anyone had any experiences flying with KLM airlines? I'm shopping around for my onward ticket (necessary of course for my visa app) and have found an almost too good to be true flight to Thailand. The price is amazing. About 360$ Canadian return. So of course I'm suspicious
On the topic of Onward tickets, has anyone gone this route instead of getting a return ticket? I only bought a one-way. Does it look suspicious if you have a return flight for your onward ticket that brings you back to Taiwan a day later?
Thanks in advance! |

Hey, my wife and I came on a cheap 20 day return ticket with the intention of not using the return portion. We got the 30 day visa exemption when we landed and just went on our visa run to HK to get my resident visa(cost about $380cdn for the return ticket but it's possible to get it cheaper I think). Both times we landed in Taipei we weren't asked to show an onward ticket to anywhere and it wasn't needed to get my resident visa in HK, which was quick and painless.

300-400 CAD is a normal price for a flight between taipei and bangkok
try thaiwairways as well. they are very good and rather inexpensive.
KLM is not bad at all, but i have only 1 flight of experience. |
