In Thailand you'll often be teaching kids whether you want to or not. In fact, a willingness to be the centerpost to their continual chariot race is usually enough of a qualification to teach them -- unless you want to be paid well to do it (60kB or more a month). In that case you'll need a BEd and some young learner experience.
Could you explain to me, just briefly, why you specifically want to teach children? It's a lot more work, you'll be continually hammering away at the same basic subject matter (a problem for almost all EFL jobs, actually) and their parents will often mouth off to you whether they should be doing so or not. |

I would like to teach children because i feel that im good with kids. I work with kids alot and really enjoy it and i feel that kids like me. Im a farily easy going guy and the kids seem to like that. Also i think that it is most important to teach children becasue they are the future and need to know english to have a good business job. |
