I'm giving some thought to applying to Dalian Maritime University. Does anyone have any info on the school or area? Thanks. |

I visited Dalian during the May holiday. I'm not sure if someone new to China would appreciate it as much as I did, but I loved it! I don't know anything about the school, but Dalian is clean, uncrowded, and modern (well, the downtown is, at least). My favorite thing in Dalian was the tapas bar, where I gourged myself on olive oil and sangria! It's run by a Spanish chef and a Irish manager. A wonderful place, incredible food. Good luck to you!

Hi,
I work at Dalian Maritime and can recommend it to you. Over 1/2 the foreign teachers here are going to sign on again for next year. You can PM me for details or asks questions.
