You don't need a return ticket to enter Vietnam.

My good friend, who is an American, just entered this past weekend on a one-way ticket. He checked it out with the consulate in San Francisco before departing and they all assured him it was completely fine. He got in without incident, so I guess they were right. Smile

My husband and I entered VN on a one way ticket and the only place we had a problem was a LHR where the check in lady said we needed a return so her supervisor was called and said that as long as we had a visa to enter the country there was no problem. Definitely no problem at SGN airport.
