Jeez... Moonraven, you are simply a punk. Probably on a trust fund. The one thing I've learned in my time on the planet is that those who love mankind always have a problem with men and women. Your intrusions on this thread are irrelevant, insipid, shrill, ignorant, and truly embarrassing. Let some air out of your Stalinist ego and get some knowledge about yourself and the world. Until you do, stay the hell off this website.

I suggest you add "The True Believer" to your list of cafe reading.

Moonraven isn't slipping--the "s" is missing from "SANCTIMONIOUS"....

Of course if you want to own "acrimonious", adelante!

I watched a fishing show regularly a few years back. One of themes that ran the show, a sort of mantra, was that when selecting bait, you should always, always know the fish you are angling for.

Why nothing more than the Path of True Enlightenment which leads to the Font of all Wisdom and Understanding which of course can only lead to Subliminal Bliss and Everlasting Harmony - I feel that anything less than that for you would be totally unacceptable...but I could be wrong of course... Absolutely...I am happy to walk that very long road.

Unless you are describing Disneyland. I done that already. It was expensive.

Claude Rains:

Your time on the planet amounts to maybe 15 minutes.

And this is NOT your website, so try reining in your fascist impulses. You're like Dr. Strangelove--he couldn't control hs impulse to give the Nazi/fascist salute.

To the moon-raving devil-child of ESL Cafe:

My suggestion you lick up your trust fund and slink off this site back to the parents who apparently left you very, very angry and pathologically insecure is based on a perusal of your nearly 1200 posts on this site over the last eight months. They compose a tapestry of gratuitous cheap shots at almost anyone who enters this site, as well as pompous claims about your own good deeds and achievements, apparently in the hope we will soon elevate you to be the Pope of Way Cool Expats.

You might want to review your own work, moonrat. Recognize it for the self-serving, piss-on-you-all, message that it sends us. Unless you can be less shrill, self-serving, and--frankly--stupid, I think it would be good for you to give us all a break for a while. Write your posts on an Etch-A-Sketch instead of ESL Cafe.

Lastly, 1200 posts in eight months? Someone either has no real job or no
one nearby who'll listen to their toxic moonrants. Forgive whomever it was who pissed you off and stop trying to make the world a better place by burning it down and killing everyone who doesn't see things your way. That's the Khmer Rouge way.

Buy a bottle of good red wine and stay up late under the stars. Be a moonraven, not a night ghoul.

My personal feeling is that your last post against the moongirl was rather unkind...I have the distinct feeling that she somehow offended you.

Now, I do have at least some faith - and I know that much of what moonchild's seemingly antagonistic attitude may stem from originated with some nuns in a religious school - so, by the same token - I believe that God CAN and WILL change her heart! Very Happy

Now, I'm also believing that, along with that change...she will become a kinder, gentler person! Very Happy

We might even find that she soon changes her name to something like:

MOONBEAMor - that 'light in the darkness of night!'

Can we all agree on that?

Before this gets shut down (as if!), I just want to give Tim (aka Ben...) my vote for "most helpful advice on the forum." I think someone suggested another title-holder way back on page 2 without asking anyone else's opinion on the matter.
