Never accept any jobs from Denis Chen, or Jack Chen (his partner in Shanghai) who has operations in Jiangsu(Wuxi) and Shanghai. He is dishonest and does not pay salaries to his teachers or staff. The English name for his company is world-link training centre or ABC English. The Chinese name is 上海澳领英语培训中心.

We are owed more than 100,000 RMB for salaries that have not been paid.

The contacts that you may come in contact with are as follows and beware:

Densis Chen
Jack Chen
Yvonne Williams
ABC English
worldlink Training Centre

Denis is really tall and Jack is really short!

If someone makes such claims on a public forum, he or she owes it to the public as well as to the people incriminated in his thread acorroborating evidence.

Otherwise this might be construed to be bad-mouthing. Is that fair?

Hey Roger,

The company e_jorgensen is talking about is the company that I had posted about a few days ago.

Here is some evidence for you.

Dennis Chen, Chairman of World-Link China didn't pay salaries for 3 foreign teachers and 5 of the Chinese staff here. One of the shareholders, Miss Dai, has paid her share of the salaries to all the employs, which is 40%. Dennis needs to pay 60% to the staff, but instead has run away. He also owes Yibin No.1 middle school 50,000RMB for breaking the contract he had with the school. He promised to take care of this, but the next day he packed up all of his things and ran to the airport. He is a coward and an @sshole.

His lawyer told us that the reason he won't pay is because of the foreign teachers. This is bullsh*t. The center failed because the students didn't want to pay for the night classes that the center provided. The reason for this is because he didn't charge the school for free English lessons during the day. Why pay for milk when you can get the cow for free. He lost a lot of money and wouldn't pay for his mistake.

Their is a company website, which is www.worldlink-china.net

If you don't believe this then come to Yibin, Sichuan and check it out for yourself. He has not only stranded the foreign teachers, the staff, and the school, but also the students that had paid for the classes.

I just hope I see Dennis again. If anybody sees him then just give him a message for me. His picture will now be my new avator.

Hey, my student was just telling me about this today! She warned me to keep away from one English teaching company that had a branch near Duolun Road (which we were visiting at the time) and told me that one of the managers had just run away with the students' tuition money, stiffing the teachers!
