Paulie--You need to read the newspaper. Or do something in Internet besides clown around on Dave's.
Don't you know congressional hearings are going on even as we tap our keyboards? And that they have sued for a recount in Ohio? Or that New Hampshire is in recount already?
And what about Florida 4 years ago, when Jebbie threw votes by afro-americans in the garbage?
Try starting here:
FROM SELMA TO OHIO: A REPORT FROM THE CONYERS HEARING

So...'Ole Stineface is going to do better?...
He doesn't have a clue as to what's going on - he's all wrapped up in ketchup money at present... |

Didn't read it, did you?
Reading seems to a problem for you.
I am not saying Kerry would do significantly better. In fact, I referred several times on this forum to his being Tweedledee to Bush's Tweedledumb.
That does not legitimize election fraud. The same script in Ohio as Florida 2000--with Blackwell instead of Jebbie.
But you don't know who those folks are because you don't read anything but the bible.
I'm finished with you--and your bigotry and ignorance. |

That was supposed to read 'Stoneface'...
By the way...Did you hear about the song they sang after the 'Old Man in the Mountains' sadly fell -
Down in the valley -
The valley so low -
Hang yourself over -
Let yourself go... |

I'm sure this was supposed to be an attempt at humor. Well, actually, I guess I'm not sure now that I think about it. Not just in reference to your comment quoted above but to several comments in your other postings as well, I believe I see one of the problems here. Your mission is to "spread the word," yet when people question or disagree with anything regarding the word that you're attempting to spread, your words then often become antagonistic, insulting, and aggressive. You frequently insinuate that others are stupid if they can't understand the points you've tried to make. These really aren't very productive methods, if you want people to listen to you and consider what you have to say -- necessary steps in converting others to your way of thinking or "spreading the word." I'm not saying that changing your methods would automatically make others accept your point of view, but I think your message would come across much better if you changed your style a bit.

I think what I read from Paulie are attempts at sharing his 'born again' experience to people who he perceives to be lost. I wish we could stay on topic about jobs, teaching styles, and teaching experiences, but we always seem to bog down in conversion.
I don't know...I guess in talking about teaching jobs in Latin America, we have to take into consideration that there are church groups and missionaries who still treat this part of the world like it was 1532. PErhaps a siggestion to Mr. Sperling could create a a couple of forums for the various groups working here, since it appears there are a number of them...perhaps the Christian forum, the Catholic forum, the Jehova forum, the Islamic forum, etc, etc. If I missed anyone, sorry...I don't keep tabs so much on the fringes. |

After reading Paulie's "Fishy" thread, I think what I read from Paulie is that he's a very disturbed person who's lost in visions of his own greatness.
In reference to his Fishy thread, Paulie wrote: |
That was written when I really didn't have any worthy contenders - the 'enemy' was still on my back nonetheless!! |
I wonder who his worthy contenders are now? |
