I agree. Personally, I cruised through the exam, and felt that having researched for my teaching practices and particularly for my extended assignment, there was nothing in the exam that was in any way daunting. The worst thing was getting ideas down on paper in the time available. As the article says, this isn't a totally realistic interprewtation of how teachers go about planning for the classroom. Also, the exam felt a bit tacked on; it wasn't really necessary as the observations were more than enough to assess whether I could cut it or not.
