I will be in Vietnam in June 2005 and would like to stay on until the middle of August. Can anyone give me some names of organizations who look for volunteers to teach or for other work?

Without pay at all, you can look up on the internet for some of the orphanage locations through out Vietnam. I am sure they need foreigners to volunteer at their organizations to teach English. One thing worht to mention to you though they may not provide you with accommodation. That is something you might think about before you do any volunteer work in that country. As for me I am planning to stay for three months possible longer if there is a paying job for me. If it works out for me, you can stay at my place and do your volunteer work.
Recently I checked some orphanages in Ho chi Minh city and found some. LIke you I am thinking of doing some volunteer work for them too.
If you want I can let you know more about these places when I get there.
