By the way, Biffinbridge, if you are an American I don't think you should be making fun of other countries' beer. |

Gotcha, R. I've seen the film, and figured that it was some abberant act that Patrick perpetrated. That being said (or written), AP was a film more more about a butcher than a grocer. I would have opted for "Dazed and Confused" to represent the third classification of "bush". I don't recall Patrick smoking any Laotian rope, or another more common herbal derivative.

Worry not. Given the choice amongst the three bushes, my reference wasn't borne from preference.

Hi capergirl ,if you've been following this forum for a while, you'll have noticed that the'biff' aka 'doors' has castigated the poor excuses for beer that are generally brewed stateside.Add to those the Australian contributions to the land of the hop and you've got the beer equivalent of a crime against humanity. Fosters,Swan,VB,Castlemaine,Coors,Miller light,Bud.....all need to be entered into the hall of shame.Being a jock bred in Blighty,(England),I know an awful lot about libation.Spent many a year imbibing in Central Europe, the home of the truly debauched .etc. |

OK, now I'm thoroughly confused. Did you just refer to yourself in the third person? |

Buffy, Buffy, Buffy
There's a city called Sydney on Cape Breton island. Which is in Nova Scotia. Which is in Canada. It is full of Cape Bretoners, as we like to call them. I have some good friends there.
It's in the Contry Bumkin's Guide to That Big Place Outside Your Town's Municipal Limits.
Capegirl, being from Sydney doesn't count. Okay, it counts a lot more than my claim to a "hometown." PS did you get mistaken for an Aussie a lot in Korea? Believe it or not, I was almost always mistaken for one in Japan (and no, I don't have the accent or anything.) |

Dear R,
" Buffy, Buffy, Buffy? She's not real, you know. She can't actually hear you..."
For all we know, neither is he ( Wolf ). Or, for that matter, maybe you aren't real, either. Come to think of it, perhaps I'm no . . |

She? Isn't Biffinbridge a he? Didn't someone say he had a wife? I changed a vowel and made the name shorter, but I didn't do anything else to him! And he exists just fine, doesn't he? I mean, someone writes those posts.... |

@Wolf...I don't recall ever being mistaken for an Aussie in Korea. Many people assumed I was American, actually...I personally think I sound very different from my American friends, but not to the Koreans I spoke with apparently. The funny thing is, when I would tell them I was Canadian, they would invariably inform me that they like Canadians better than Americans. lmao
Now Wolfie, I wouldn't go pickin' on my little city of Sydney...you come from Antigonowhere after all. Isn't cow tipping a favourite pastime in Antigonowhere? hehe |

You say that like there is something wrong with sorties to Lao. We should be so lucky. |
