My greatest fear is that there are people who cling so hard to some scripture, such as Revelations, that they may be tempted to do whatever they can to bring the end days about. Imagine if someone in real power were so fanatical. uh oh

Old men's visions of the axis of evil and terror. The young dreaming of a day when they need not fear being roused from slumber by the National guard recruitment officer, promising glory and riches if they just give but a few months of their young lives.

Old men's visions of the end of the Great Satan. The young dreaming of the 72 virgins that await them in paradise as they strap the suicide belt tightly to the breast, in search of glory.

last days

Have you been conditioned to always think the worst, Tim?

No, not about everyone and everything. About things you write, yes, mainly because I see you as a dangerous person. Based on a number of your postings on these forums, it would be really difficult for me to imagine good/better/best regarding anything you choose to share here. You know, I don't think you bother to really read or try to understand what other people write on these forums before you post your responses to them.

I shouldn't have posted the response the way I did to Guy's speculation that you were once associated with a certain group of people with roots in Sicily. However, I agree with Guy that your comment sounded like a threat.

Ha ha, this post is so good I realize I should have ventured out of the Mexico and Korea forums sooner, specially as Mexico seems to have all but closed down for the month.

God bless you, Mr Paulie sir.

Mike: Celebrating early, are you? I believe you just might have meant forum, or thread--not post.

As for the conditioning that Tim and others have received on this forum from Paulie--which has led us to conclude that he or she--whichever gender is appropriate here--is dangerous, I think this is an example of reaping what one sows.
