Merry Christmas to all who frequent this section of Dave's.

I will be spending the holidays in Venezuela, a little time in Valencia and a little time in Puerto La Cruz. Hallacas, here I come!

Next vacation is already planned out, too. Carnaval in Santo Domingo. I'll give an update on the school idea then.

Best wishes,

Alitas (freezing her *** off in Maine)

A Merry Cristmas to you too! Just be careful of who may be receiving your seasonal wishes on this site - you might get some 'negative vibes' via e-mail or something...

Yeah, like Paulie's negative vibes.

Merry Christmas, Alitas. I would tell you to say hi to the comandante for me, but he's in China!

Happy holidays to all!

Keep warm in those freezing northern lands by remembering the Latin fire down south.

Merry Christmas from Santa.

Oh, I will be Santa for Friday evening at work up here in the very chilly Land of the Morning Calm.

Mike...where are you in Korea? I was first in Masan then in a beautiful island called Namhae way down south. The scenery was fantastic!

I loved Korea and found many good Christian (and other faiths) folk to befriend. One of my fondest memories is of eating a fresh fish dinner after church in a small, seaside local village with my friends' family. His father was the pastor of the tiny church.

Incredible views is the only way I can describe it...

A little bit like the coast of Maine...where I also liked to spend a lot of time...

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps they befriended you rather than that you befriended them? Probably not, considering your point of view on everything else. Something to think about.

Good point, Tim...a bit lost in translation I'm afraid...

I am in a smallish town in Kyonbuk province, the air is clean, the job is busy but honest, the scenery is nice, except it's too cold for me to enjoy the great outdoors at the moment.

The big downside is that my family is on the other side of the world, and I won't be back there for probably another 10 months.

The mix of religions here means that people are generally friendly and respectful of each other, no hate-filled anti-Christian pseudo-Buddists yet.

Then again I think the only person that answers that description that I've ever noticed was right here in the Dave's forums.

Obviously, Guy seems to know just who you're talking about...I surely don't...

But, please...no names for the sake of us all...we live in too small a space already!

Don't know you at all, Mike, but...I have a feeling that you could learn a lot from that wonderful wife that God has blessed you with!

...just a thought...

To bad you didn't learn to stop pissing in the sandbox.

Actually, the only thing you seem to have mastered is the deadly sin of ENVY. Some folks might mistake your green-ness for politcal correctness. I don't. I know just the kind of envious little troll that you are.
