I posted something on the Job Information Journal last March about staying clear of Guayaquil. It's a hell hole. Che Guevara said that about it in the early 50s, and it has not changed.
The people in Guayaquil are the most conflictive folks I have ever encountered. They are also the most dishonest. I did not work where you worked, but it's all the same game. And the folks who have suffered through Guayaquil homestays....�Ay! |

Ahhhh yes...Che (at least I still see some tee shirts with his picture on them around - shows some of us are not living too far in the past I guess...)
Wasn't one of his quotes something like: "Let me say - at the risk of seeming ridiculous - that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love."
Good thought...too bad Jesus actually lived and died that philosophy 2000 years before Che thought of it!!
