I don't think we are talking about the same Nichibei, the one I am referring to is in Yotsuya, Tokyo:

(the link is for their Japanese language program but they teach lots of different languages there, also interpreting and translation.)
The full name is Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin. The one you are writing about is Nichibei Eigo Gakuin.

Actually, the school I was talking about was yet another 'Nichibei'--日米外語学院 (Nichibei Gaigogakuin). I met the owner of this school once about 7 years ago. He bragged then about his poor treatment of the foreign teachers on his staff--most of which I later confirmed as true with the teachers themselves.
Hence, the comment in my original post:

While you are correct that there are certainly some good ones, as Paul and I have demonstrated, some very bad schools begin with the term "Nichibei" as well.
