You wanna stay there overnight? It will set you back I reckon 2000 dollars.
It's a good five-star hotel if that's what you are craving. If you want it a little different, head over to the YMCA in Salisbury Rd.
The HOLIDAY INN is in Nathan Rd., a 100 meters from the infamous CHUNGKING MANSIONS. It is always terribly croweded in front of it.
In the basement of the HOLIDAY INN you will find a well-stocked delicatessen shop with imported foods to take home or eat there. |

Thanks Roger. Got a good deal for a week for two with breakfasts. We had to book with them or some other place nearby which is being renovated. Just wanted to check if it was okay.

Actually, I believe it's a 3 star, not a 5 star. |

Except that in HK, they skip the "4" and go direct from 3 to 5, even when it comes to hotel ratings! My wife used to be in the hotel business here. But yes, from a western standpoint, 3 sounds like a dump while 4 sounds pretty good. Call it a 4 and be done with it. |
