Hey PaulH, I don't know what happened there, but me, Nawlinsgirl, and Melirae are all from the SOUTH, home of beauty contests. |

No, but sometimes guys can enter into them...although it usually involves beer, an anticipatory football game of some kind (high school or college) OR henpecked husbands who are going through a mid-lifer and want to feel "young" again...
Actually if I owned a scanner, which unfortunately I don't, I could post some interesting pics of guys from my high school that entered into something, well, called "rat day".... |

Well, it wasn't me who posted whatever it was but I think that it should perhaps have been left to the target to decide whether or not they wanted any action taken. I think PAULH has been a bit precious here, not everyone gives a *beep* what people think about the way they look. As a 14 year old I had nightmare frizzy hair and a face full of spots, you soon realise that people taking the piss out of you is far from the worst thing that can happen, especially when they invariably end up on the dole and the nerd kids end up fronting modelling campaigns and bands etc when people in the industries go mad for their "different" look.
NB - I am still waiting to be discovered. |

Would anyone who has just posted (melirae, chi-chi etc) be interested in deleting their non-photo posts on page 2 as they have served their purpose? How 'bout we just get back to the photo-only thread? Hit the "x" link in the top right corner to delete your post. |

Paul is our hero again! Instead of just deleting the nasty comments of posters, he has to point out that such comments were made in the first place. I'm sure that makes the women who posted their pics feel a lot better. Chivalry is NOT dead. |

How do you know the target didn't request the removal? I saw both posts. And the target *did* read the insult. And he replied to it. I'm glad both posts are gone. It really took away from the thread. I've posted my pic several times but keep deleting it cuz it's either too old, too big, or out of focus. But I'll try again. |

Sadken, don't forget, as far as regular posters are concerned and what they can and can not post on Dave's, a Moderators powers know no limits. |

Hey Lynn,
That kimono one was cool. I really wish that I had had the chance to get some photos made like that before I left.
Although I did purchase a purple one and it is pretty cool.

I am not one of the post-regulars in this forum, but I have enjoyed and learned from it. I think this picture thing is a cool idea so here's me with my nephew on Christmas. Enjoy, and Happy holidays everyone! |
