Since I'm my "home" is Mexico City, and I stay in town, I usually try to line up 4 or 5 projects to do over the long Guadelupe-Reyes slowdown.
Let's see...
I DIDN'T get another chapter finished on my book.
I DIDN'T revise my e-book for foreign teachers.
I DIDN'T get around to translating the short book on the beat writers in Mexico City.
Sounds like a normal holiday to me. I DID, however, buy a crockpot! |

Crockpots are nasty--they turn everything to mush.
After you give away the crockpot, buy a toaster oven. You can make lasagna, stuffed chicken--well, just about anything that can be made in a regular oven. |
