Q. How many English Language Teachers does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. Two. One to change it and one to criticise the methodology of changing it like that.
Q. How many English Language Teachers does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. Ten. One to change it and another nine to see what Jim Scrivener says about it.
Sorry, I'm bored. |

As long as they're burnt out, it doesn't matter. |

If you take a lightbulb centred approach perhaps you'll end up not changing it at all. |

How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?
None. There's nothing wrong with that light bulb. There is no need to change anything. We made the right decision and nothing has happened to change our minds. People who criticize this light bulb now, just because it doesn't work anymore, supported us when we first screwed it in, and when these flip-floppers insist on saying that it is burned out, they are merely giving aid and encouragement to the Forces of Darkness.

Some possible answers:
"I'm not an English language teacher. I'm an English language facilitator. The lightbulb needs to learn how to change itself on its own."
"It doesn't matter how many as long as they don't use the lightbulb's L1 while they're doing it."
"Please don't refer to it as a lightbulb. It is a visual-enhancement device for light-challenged areas."
"Changing lightbulbs isn't in my contract. That's the custodian's job, isn't it? I'm just here to teach English, drink beer, and get laid, not necessarily in that order."
"I suppose it would depend on whether or not they have an MA in LBC (Light Bulb Changing) or have taken an LBC training course including a practicum and how much lightbulb-changing experience they have listed on their CV." |
