Particularly today. It's nice to be able to wear a short-sleeved shirt in the middle of January.

This has the potential to be a record-breaking thread, degil mi? (my apologies for slipping a bit of Turkish in there for no apparent reason)

Yeah, but I don't think I'm as familiar with the situation as you. A friend of a friend of someone's cousin's boyfriend's next door neighbour sent someone an email who forwarded it to someone who doesn't know me but has my address on some multi-purpose list. Anyway... it is a beautiful day alright.

The weather, naturally. It's one of the reasons I've stayed in this country for so long. Of course, I'd like summers in Istanbul to be like they were last year; too much humidity can be a nuisance, especially without air conditioning.
