Perhaps this will come as no surprise to any of you, but for newbies, which some of those who reading this unmistakingly are: BEWARE of Millenium Services. They are the epitomy of everything that is wrong with native speaker recruiting. They make contracts guaranteeing more hours than they actually are allowed to offer from the schools they recruit for, and then don't give you your housing allowance because you didn't reach the required amount of hours that they weren't allowed to offer in the first place. The guy is a real creep. Needless to say, stay away from them at all costs, you can get a job at the companies they recruit for without having to go through them. Does anybody else have a horror story, I think everyone should know. |

I have heard further horror stories about Millennium Service. By all means, do not work for them. In fact, if you see any job postings on TEFL.com or anywhere else, report it straight away. Thank you for the warning.

MILLENNIUM Service
I worked for MILLENNIUM Service of Poland. The owner operator of this company is Aerk.
Aerk will tell you nothing but lies just to get you over to Poland, he cannot be trusted and must be avoided at all costs.
My story, I finished my contract in Taiwan after nine months of teaching. After two weeks of coming home to the USA I decided to have a change, I started to look for work in Poland, and found I a job with MILLENNIUM Services.
They had offered me a job for 4000 Polish dollars a month 50 % rent paid and 120 working hours per month. They also offer my work visa on arrival. This was the start of it
MILLENNIUM Service ask me too send all my diplomas and passport to them in Poland for the work visa. I told them no. I then declined the offer.
They responded to and said that just to come over just bring all documents with you and everything would be ok, so I did agree.
When I arrived I stayed at the hotel for one week then I lost my temper, I told Aerk that if he did not get me a job ASAP, I would call the embassy. The same day he got me a job and an apartment. And still no work visa
Every week I got paid 300 polish dollars, my living conditions were awful.
I have reported this company to the Polish embassy in the USA. If you contact your Polish Embassy there is a warning about this guy.
And also if you are there in Poland working for him and having problems with MILLENNIUM Service please go to the local police department or too the city hall and tell them, they know of the situation and are aware. (You will not get in trouble.)
(And if you decide to work in Poland you DO NOT go until your get your work visa FROM YOUR LOCAL EMBASSY.)
He made so many teachers upset with his false promises. If you have any questions please email me.
[email protected]
Their web address www.mmservice.pl
I will do what it takes to make people around the world know that this guy is a scammer and a big time liar.
And Dave please make this company a global alert
Thank you
Sherry |

I did in the end receive the funds I was promised. I'm sorry if I've mislead or misrepresented anything. My apologies. |
