Does anyone have FIRST-HAND knowledge of Alexandria University?
I have gone through their website thoroughly, have ditto the library website, have done all possible with Google.

Looking for reliable info on their EFL and TESOL offerings and the Arts/English program, as well as any takes on the University as a whole, preferably knowledge gained from personal experience.

I regret that my question cannot be more specific on this public forum so I am constrained to ask generally.

What exactly are you looking for?? Job information or just general information about the course they offer? I'm resident in Alex, and several of my Egyptian friends studied there, so I should be able to get the info you want if you can be a bit more specific!!

I sincerely regret not being able to be to be specific, as stated in my original posting.
I guess if I had to restate the question, I would ask how the university is generally regarded: is it a no-nonsense, serious academic institution? Is it respected? Is the English program serious?
Or, another way to look at the question: if you were looking for a place to put your money, would you view Alexandria as a safe bet? Less than safe? Worthwhile?
No, I'm not looking for a job currently. I am looking for information on this institution for other reasons.

Everyone I have met who studied EFL at Alexandria Uni said it was a good course. One of my best friends out here was there (granted, that was 7 years ago), but I also know others who either work or have worked there (Egyptians, not native speakers). Since I can't help you with specifics, I hope that gives you a bit more of an idea!
